2016 Pool Hours & Rules

The pool is scheduled to be open on May 27, 2016

Below are the pool rules and if you witness any misbehavior in the pool or clubhouse, please report it in writing to CMI.

  • No smoking is allowed in or around the pool.
  • For safety, alcohol is not permitted in the pool area.
  • For the enjoyment of all residents and families, please do not use profanities or other adult words in the pool area and clubhouse.
  • The property management company, CMI, or a Board member has the right to remove anyone from the pool area.

Pool hours are from 9:00am to 10:00pm.

Lap swimming is permitted between 6:00am and 9:00am.

Morrison Hershfield Complex Restoration & Repair Recommendations

At this phase, this is only an assessment of the building condition and required repairs.  This report does not include costs; that will be done after we have read and considered the report and had all of our questions answered by Morrison Hershfield.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting 2-18-16

5:30 pm – 7:00 pm Sequoia Park Clubhouse

Due to the recent increase in amount of suspicious activity and break-ins being reported at Sequoia Park Condominium, a neighborhood watch meeting has been set up to discuss ways to help protect the community. This meeting is open to all residents who wish to attend.

An officer from the Beaverton Police Department will be present to discuss ways to help protect the property. There will be materials handed out for the presentation, followed by Q&A’s with the officer.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Anyone who wishes to help make Sequoia Park a better and safer place are encouraged to attend.

Meeting with Morrison Hershfield 2-11-16

February 11, 2016 Call to Order: 6:00 PM

The Board of Directors will be holding a meeting with their building consultant, Morrison Hershfield to discuss upcoming repair projects and to set expectations. If you have any questions, please contact CMI at 503-233-0300.

PGE Construction Notice • Effective SEPT to NOV

maintenancePGE will be working with a construction vendor along the train tracks. This work will require some excess noise in the area due to vehicles and other construction equipment. They will be on site Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The phase and timeframe is described below:

  • Phase 1: Crews build access roads with dump trucks and earth moving equipment. Trees along the power lines will be trimmed. (Mid-September to early October)
  • Phase 2: Crews erect wood and steel poles with a crane and a bucket truck (late September to October)
  • Phase 3: After all poles are erected, crews hang wire on the poles. (October)
  • Phase 4: All access roads will be removed with dump trucks and earth moving equipment (November)

The work outlined in this project is dependent on the weather. They informed us that it is difficult to predict how water will affect the speed at which the crews can complete the work since it is a wetland.

weller_heat_pump_graphicThe Board had heard many resident requests for the installation of Heat Pumps.  They’re great for many reasons, but they do require the penetration of the common walls and improper installation could pose a risk to our structures.  The Board has worked with licensed contractors to compose a set of guidelines for any unit owner wishing to install a heat pump system.  With these guidelines in place, requests for installation can more quickly and easily be approved.

Pool Is Open for the Season

The pool is scheduled to be open from May 22, 2015 through September 8, 2015.

The pool hours are from 9a.m.-10 p.m. daily. Lap swimming allowed from 6 a.m.-9 a.m.

Turf Fertilization Notice: May 20th

Enstrom Landscaping will be on site to fertilize all lawn areas on Wednesday, May 20th.

For ultimate safety, concerned residents and their pets should refrain from using the lawn for two days, until the rain or irrigation has had a chance to carry the fertilizer into the soil.

The grass may appear ‘bruised’ or ‘blackened’. This is normal and temporary. Additionally, this fertilizer can stain clothing.
